Luis, is a successful, self-absorbed journalist, searching for his next big story. While researching patient's lives at a mental health institution, Luis discovers the sad reality of Herminio, an old patient trapped by the webs of bureaucracy and ignorance. Against all odds, together they embark on a journey across Paraguay that will free Hermninio and give Luis much more than a story to write about.
