Ionut, a young miner, wants to build a mechanical loader to make the shovels' work easier. Engineer Panait, a former shareholder of the company that previously owned the mine, systematically sabotages all attempts by miners to improve production and makes them work tirelessly. He sets up a methane bag in the gallery where Ionut is experimenting.
