The film begins with a scene of trees swaying in wind, followed by a scene of workers dumping factory waste and metallic sound. Road And Mountain believes in the power of such images than a plot, and that is what makes this film attractive. It keeps showing workers who work in the dust. The acrid smoke from the factor blows in wind and pollutes the village. However, what it truly pollutes are the factory workers. The most impressive scene in the film is where the camera advances towards a crying child and mother. Where is their father? Are they the family of a man died from pollution? Someone loses his love, and someone loses his family. This way, Road And Mountain links a tragedy of environment with that of affairs of men.
