Under the guidance of regression therapist Andrea Foulkes the celebrities are put into a trance to see if they can recall a past life. Once the regression is complete the Historian/Archaeologist, Jules Hudson, investigates the story to see if it can be put into some sort of historical context. Finally, Phillip asks the celebrity their opinion, based on their experience, as to whether they believe they have lived before.
