维埃拉·恰卡涅娃，Born in Bratislava, Czechoslovakia (today Slovakia) in 1980. She studied Screenwriting at the Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava (VŠMU) and received a bachelor’s degree in Documentary Film from the Film and TV School of the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague (FAMU). Besides making her own films, she also works as script editor and editor for independent film productions.
