Cate Smit，Cate was born in New York City, the youngest of three children. She began acting in theater at an early age and recorded her first voice-over for the Electric Company before she could read. Since then, Cate attended Syracuse University, during which time she studied in London. She graduated with a BFA in Theater Arts.
