Ed Stewart，Born in Devon, Ed 'Stewpot' Stewart broke into broadcasting with a job at Radio Hong Kong working as a sports commentator, announcer and, finally, as a disc jockey. He returned to Britain in 1965 and joined the pirate station Radio London, before moving on to BBC Radio.
