恩科内·马梅特贾，N’kone Mametja is a versatile actress and voice-over artist from Gauteng, South Africa. She holds a BA in Drama and Theatre Arts from the University of the Free State. Her career began in late 2020 with background roles in Lioness and the musical drama Rhythm City. She later starred as Beneatha Younger in the stage production of A Raisin in the Sun, directed by Dr. Jerry Mofokeng wa Makhetha. Her performance earned her a Naledi Theatre Award nomination for Best Breakthrough Performance in 2021. She has appeared in numerous commercials for brands including Volkswagen, First for Women, and Dischem. In September 2022, she made her television debut as Refiloe Mokoena in the telenovela Redemption, earning a Royalty Soapie Award nomination for Best Newcomer. Her screen credits also include roles in Unseen Season 2, Generations: The Legacy and Breekpunt. Her voice acting journey began on Instagram, where her impression videos collectively garnered over 1 million views. She has since trained professionally and voiced national commercials, a short, animated film and an animated TV show. N’kone brings characters to life with warmth, wit and a distinct vocal range.
