阿尔忒弥斯·阿纳斯塔西亚多（Artemis Anastasiadou）The screenwriter and director was born in Thessaloniki, Greece in 1978. She studied drama and theatre arts at the city’s Aristotle University and film directing at the University of Texas in Austin. Her work focuses on female character studies and explores their hidden emotional landscapes and diverse forms of violence. Her short film Calling was selected for the 2018 Texas Filmmakers’ Showcase; I Am Mackenzie won the Texas Shorts Jury Award at the 2019 SXSW. To Vancouver is her first film set in her Greek homeland.
