龚依文（Yiwen Gong）Born in Hangzhou, Yiwen Gong moved to the US to study at the age of seventeen. After earning her BA, she returned to China to work in film, even though New York remains her favourite city. Written and directed by Gong, Her First Taste received two top prizes: Asian New Talent Best Film and Best Actress at the 28th Shanghai IFF Golden Goblet Award in 2026. It was previously selected for the Work-in-Progress section at the 2023 Shanghai IFF and won the WIP Award at the 23rd Hong Kong Asia Film Financing Forum (HAF).
