马可·贝奇斯（Marco Bechis）Born in Santiago de Chile in 1955, he grew up in Buenos Aires and worked as a primary school teacher. During the Argentinian military dictatorship he was imprisoned in a torture camp as a left-wing activist. He emigrated to Italy and in 1981 took up studies at the Albedo film school in Milan.
