萨宾娜·芭芭耶瓦，Sabina Bakaeva was born in 1995 in Saint Petersburg, Russia, but has spent her entire life in Uzbekistan. She works in the media industry as a journalist and media manager. In 2023, she participated in the Ateliers Varan workshop at the Tashkent Film School, where she created her debut documentary Nudity, which reflects her interest in patriarchal stereotypes and gender equality.
