何塞·M·诺顿，Jose-Maria Norton was born and raised in Lisbon, Portugal. The youngest of six kids, he is from Portuguese, Argentinean and Polish-Jewish descent, Throughout high school and early college, Norton acted in commercials, TV series and films, with a brief stint as a part-time TV reporter.
