埃米莉·格林(Emily Greene)Emily received her bachelor’s degree in Film Studies at UC Berkeley. It was here where she had the opportunity to cut on a non linear editing system, and was fascinated how visual storytelling was like a puzzle that could be assembled in myriad ways. She spent a year abroad in Bologna, Italy where she learned Italian and studied European cinema. After graduating UC Berkeley, Emily decided to pursue editing in Rome, Italy. She attended a three-year program specialized in film editing at the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia (Italy’s national film school). Following this experience, she began as an apprentice editor, then assistant editor on feature films and documentaries, including films by Abel Ferrara and Sabina Guzzanti. After 10 years in Italy, Emily returned to Los Angeles to further her career in editing. Her credits include “American Crime Story: The Assassination of Gianni Versace” for which she was nominated for both a Primetime Emmy as well as an Eddy by the American Cinema Editors. Following that, Emily also worked on “Mrs. America”, starring Cate Blanchett, and was nominated for an HPA award for her editing. Other works include cutting on “The Blacklist”, “The Rookie”, Amazon’s “Carnival Row” and “Paper Girls”, as well as Apple TV+’s “Foundation”.
