耶莱娜·韦利亚查（Jelena Veljaca）Jelena Veljača is a well-known Croatian actress, screenwriter and columnist. She gained popularity after her roles in telenovelas Villa Maria (2004) and Ljubav u zaledju (2005). Over the years, she realized that her true love was actually writing, so she replaced acting with screenwriting and is the author of many Croatian series such as Obicni ljudi (2006), Zakon ljubavi (2008), Stella (2013) and Zora dubrovacka (2013). She also produced the telenovela Larin izbor (2011). She is a regular columnist for Croatian daily newspaper "Jutarni list", where she comments on current social events.
